Emergency Weather Closing
The district will send out mass notifications to all SD 308 employees and families when school buildings are closed. Notification will be made NO LATER than 5am on the school day impacted. This includes a voicemail, email, text, and app notification. We also post changes on the SD 308 website and social media outlets.
When inclement weather closes schools, our emergency remote learning plan will be utilized to continue student engagement. Attendance will be taken. Details and links are included below.
Facility rentals are cancelled if schools are not held in-person.
Elementary and junior high school activies will not be conducted if schools are not held in-person.
Cancellation of afternoon/evening high school sports and activites will be announced no later than 10:30am on the day they are scheduled to take place.
