The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) allows students whose families meet certain income requirements to receive all school meals at a free or reduced price. Nutritious meals help students succeed in school on a daily basis. We want to make sure parents have a quick and simple way to access these benefits. Please view the Income Eligibility Guidelines Chart established by ISBE.

Meal and Fee Waiver Benefits Through Direct Certification – SNAP, TANF or Income-based Medicaid

If your student received a notification letter granting benefits for School Year 24 due to their SNAP, TANF or Income-based Medicaid, you do not have to submit an application. The State of Illinois provides us with a monthly file for qualifying students, the majority of which are matched with our system on July 1st. If you do not receive notification in July of direct benefits and you have an active SNAP, TANF or Income-Based Medicaid case number, please contact us at 630-636-3663. If your benefits have expired or you no longer qualify through direct certification, you can submit an application.

If you would like to apply for free and reduced-price meals, you may also download a paper copy of the application below. If you don't have access to a printer, applications will also be available at each school's main office. Bring the completed form to your school office, the District Administration Center, or mail to:
