Equity and Engagement
As Director of Diversity, Equity,and Inclusion, Dr. Jadon A. Waller is responsible for supporting student learning through professional development, redressing inequitable systems and policies, culturally responsive teaching, student voice, and family engagement.
Dr. Waller earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a teaching certification from Northern Illinois, her Masters in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, and her Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. Before becoming a Director, Dr. Waller taught all levels of high school English, journalism, and Theory of Knowledge. As an administrator, she was a Dean in SD129 West Aurora and an Assistant Principal in Joliet 86.
