Mr. Arntzen has an undergraduate degree from Aurora University with a major in Physical Education and minors in both History and Health Education. His master’s degree is from Benedictine University with a concentration in Educational Leadership.

In his many years in the field of education, Dan Arntzen has served in a variety of leadership positions. Prior to his current role as Executive Director of High School Instruction, Dan was the Assistant Principal of Student Services at Oswego East High School. Mr. Arntzen states that this was a wonderful introduction to SD308 and a remarkable experience in every way. Before joining SD308, he served as the Athletic Director, Director of Activities and Physical Education Division Chair at Streamwood High School. He began his educational career in Plainfield School District 202 as a teacher, Assistant Athletic Director, Director of Activities and Physical Education Division Chair.

Dan is focused on building relationships with all stakeholders as he believes relationships are the key to success when working with our students, staff and families.

Prior to accepting the position of director of junior high school education for District 308, Shannon Lueders served as the principal of Thompson Junior High School for five years. Shannon has been in education since 1996, and entered administration in 2002 as an Acting Dean/Counselor for Jefferson Middle School, Aurora, IL.

She joined District 308 in 2007 as the Assistant Principal for Thompson Junior High School and during her time there Lueders served many roles and was active on many committees, including Teacher Appraisal Committee, Human Resources Steering Committee, Language Arts Dynamics Course Committee, Strategic Plannng Task Force, Gifted Education Task Force, Gifted Education Programming Committee, Boundary Committee, Class Size Committee and Teaching & Learning Board Advisory Committee. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Western Illinois University, and her master’s in educational leadership from Aurora University, in Aurora, IL.

Jeremy Bell has more than a decade's worth of experience working in educational administration. As the Executive Director of Student Services, Jeremy works closely with school staff and building principals for student-related concerns including discipline, student safety, crisis planning, crisis response, behavioral support, the GOAL program, student attendance boundary exceptions and Student Rights and Responsibilities.

Prior to joining Oswego School District 308, Jeremy served as the Executive Director of Student Services in SD131, an Assistant Director of Student Services in SD131, a High School Administrator in SD131, and an Assistant Principal in Belvidere SD100. Upon joining SD308 in July of 2020, Jeremy served as the Director of Special Education. He began his career as a school social worker and received his bachelor’s of sciences from NIU, Dekalb, a master’s degree in school social work from Aurora University, Aurora, and a master's degree in educational administration from Aurora University, Aurora.

Dr. Kristen Paul has over 18 years of experience in K-12 education. Dr. Paul’s experience spans from her time in the classroom as a high school English teacher, a high school Dean, middle school Assistant Principal, middle school Principal, leadership coach and adjunct professor.

Dr. Paul received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Concordia University in 2018. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership, a Master of Arts degree in Special Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education-English.
