Summer School (High School)

Basic Information

  • Location:  Oswego East High School
  • Session 1:  June 10 - June 27
  • Session 2:  July 1 - July 18
  • Time:  7:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Monday - Thursday
  • Transporation will not be provided. 

Summer Connections (K-7)

Basic Information

  • For students finishing grades K-7
  • Benefits those who need extra instruction, remediation (not enrichment)
  • ALL students welcome, including SPED not attending ESY (IEP minutes will NOT be followed)
  • Locations at Boulder Hill (including Dual Language), Prairie Point, Wolf's Crossing
  • Weeks of June 3, June 10, June 17, and June 24 (four weeks instruction, M-TH)
  • Transportation will be provided, if requested/required
  • Registration opens after spring break.  I'll share the Google Form for registration later.

Request

  • Please send the attached flyers (English/Spanish png and pdf) out to your school families a few times over the next couple weeks.
  • Please encourage teachers to share with (targeted) families at spring conferences.
  • Please post the attached flyers on your social media pages
  • Please share employment information with your staff - all jobs are posted
  • Staff work at SC 8:30-12:00, Monday-Friday. Teachers receive $50 per hour with  curriculum resources provided.  Teaching assistants receive their hourly pay.

Summer Honors Bridge (6-8)

Information

The purpose of the bridge course is to cover skills needed for a solid foundation in an honors course.  The bridge courses are open to anyone taking an honors ELA/Math class for the 2024-2025 school year and are strongly encouraged for those entering Honors classes for the first time and for those entering 6th grade Pre-Algebra as they will be skipping a year of standards.
