The old saying “It takes a village” is true when it comes to providing the children of our community with a great education, positive influences, and opportunities to exercise their educational, artistic, and athletic abilities. Our district is made up of 22 schools, serving over 18,000 students and employing approximately 2,600 individuals. Together with our community, the district is proud to receive frequent recognition for being a great place for students.
Oswego Community Unit School District 308 offers area businesses the opportunity to join as a District Partner. Your support, whether financial or through in-kind donations, helps us with several district-wide recognition programs for students, teachers, and employees.. District Partners will be proudly promoted through the use of:  signage throughout the district, electronic communications, slides at the Board of Education meetings, and a certificate. Students, parents, staff, and families are proud to be part of this district and certainly would appreciate your support!
Sponsorship of specific programs is welcomed, though not required. Our largest programs:  The PRIDE Program and the Food Drive are outlined below. In addition, we also provide prizes for student contests, special events, and staff recognition throughout the year.

The Pride Program

School District 308’s PRIDE (Proudly Recognizing Individuals Demonstrating Excellence) Recognition Program celebrates the individual contributions of excellence made by teachers and employees. The PRIDE Recognition Program was implemented in the fall of 2015.  The PRIDE program typically runs through the months of September to May. Those selected as PRIDE monthly winners receive a letter from Dr. Sparlin, Certificate, sponsor “gifts”, announcement at BOE meeting, and a news story posted in “District News” on the website.

PRIDE Program Donation Opportunities

Financial support of the program or donation of in-kind items and gift certificates used as prizes for winners. All District Partners are listed on recognition certificates, are included in the monthly press release.  Additional benefits, based on giving level, may include a link from the district website, business links in district flyers, naming rights to award categories, and others.

Food Drive

Our largest annual district-wide charity event benefits the Kendall County Community Food Pantry with record-setting donations of food and funding. To help motivate students and the community to join in this huge effort, we offer raffle prizes and various promotional items.
