I am  proud to be part of School District 308, and especially proud to be a part of the outstanding communities of Bednarcik Junior High and Wolf’s Crossing Elementary.  The supportive and involved parents at both schools set the foundation for a positive learning experience.   Staff who show how much they care about each student,  and go above and beyond,  truly make each building a special place to be.  The learning environment at  both

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota.  I then received a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Illinois.  I  attended Loyola University’s Educational Leadership certification program and began my administrative  career in LaGrange/School District 102 followed by Indian Prairie School District 204.  After some time off to stay home with my children, Megan and Ryan, I joined the District 308 community in 2013 as a special education teacher at Long Beach Elementary School, and continued on as a coordinator for Kendall County Special Education Cooperative.

I am excited about the opportunity to be on the leadership team of School District 308 to work in partnership with communities and families as we  educate all students to reach their highest potential.
